大家建议一下basement level用玻璃瓷电炉和气炉那个好？

我建新房时建商给加了带厨房的mother-in-lawunit。现在两年之后了因为父母要来长住才想把厨房电器装起来，才发现炉子插口是电的，不是天然气，当时建商也没问我们，我一直以为跟主厨房一样是气炉。大家认为应该请人改成气炉吗？好像费用也不贵，如有必要我想考虑。
房子是三层的，这个motherinlawunit在walkoutbasementlevel,用气炉会不会不安全？
