Itisveryinterestingthataself-disciplinedpersonismuchlesspopularthanabad-person-turned-goodperson.Thelattersetsupagoodexampleforordinarypeople,whomightbebadatonepointoftheirlives.Ifthatpersonhasareligion,peoplewhobeliveinthatreligionwillalsoattributetheresulttothepowerofthereligion.Ontheotherhand,apersonwithgoodself-controlallhis/herlifeisdeemedasbeinghyprocrite,sadly.ThebestexampleisGorevs.Bush.
