Elon Musk 关于新冠肺炎的判断

Elon Musk, 是电动汽车公司Tesla和太空探索公司SpaceX的CEO。

我长期关注Elon Musk，他在太空探索和电动汽车行业等的创新和快速发展，让我兴奋和激动，对他的思维模式：“the first principles method” ，推崇备至。但，进入疫情期间，他关于病毒的一些言论，让我担心。

例如，在2020年5月7日， Joe Rogan与Elon Musk的访谈中，2人谈及新冠疫情的严重程度。Elon Musk提到特斯拉上海厂的状况，7000多人，疫情期间没有死亡。

如果，依此作为新冠病毒严重程度的判断，是不准确的。东西方文化，仅对口罩的看法，就有很大差异。

至少，戴口罩这一条，中国员工是要遵守的，在公司和其他公共场所。此外，上海政府也做了大量的复工准备工作，见文末的链接。员工、公司及政府，在整个病毒防范方面，非常细致。

据报道，复工后的上海特斯拉产能甚至超疫情前。中国工厂的正常生产，为特斯拉的财务报表作出了贡献。

teslarati报道：Tesla China is contributing significantly to the electric automaker’s revenue as a company. Reports now indicate that Tesla’s China-based sector accounted for nearly 25% of the company’s total revenue in the second quarter of 2020.

上周“Daily Drive” podcast采访中，Musk replied: “China rocks in my opinion. The energy in China is great. People there – there’s like a lot of smart, hard working people.”

在加州，就口罩而言，工作和公共场所没有严格执行。结果，七月媒体报道特斯拉在Fremont的工厂：

Phillips and former Tesla employee Carlos Gabriel, say social distancing protocols are not being followed. They claim masks are provided but the rules are not enforced and there is no record of sanitation of equipment.

“An internal data leak shows that Tesla is seeing a spike in COVID-19 ‘exposure,’ primarily at its Fremont factory in California,” the blog Electrek reported. “So far, more than 130 Tesla workers have tested positive with more test results pending, and a dozen more contractors and temporary employees involved with Tesla’s operations have also tested positive.”

Elon Musk影响极大，据纽约时报，仅推特，他有34 million Twitter followers。

上周末，看载人飞船返回的直播。我留意到，SpaceX公司员工及Elon Musk都戴着口罩，心里舒坦多了。NASA控制中心，则是另一番景象，暂按下不表。

我觉得你还是没搞懂他为什么会成功。拿火箭发射来说，他主要还是从省钱的角度来思考，并非是什么新的物理。要做到，必须得打破常规才行，即使搬到中国去造也是打破常规。思想上的循规蹈矩是很难成功的，当然还有很多其它因素。

哈哈，我看过他的，“the first principles method” 自己也说不清楚。

这样吧，凡事都需要独立思考，不要轻易接受，更进一步是当作一个全新的问题去考虑答案。有时候不知道答案更好，否则容易被左右。每个人的思路不一样，也许你能够找到更好的答案。

我喜欢他。我重视疫情。但是有一点我不认同你。一个人无论在社交媒体上有多少followers，都有自由表达的权力。不同意他也可以出言反驳，但翼龙完全有freedom of speech. 他是个充满热情，随心所欲的人，不完美，却很有魅力。他有错有对很正常。比起道士人设的盖茨，我更喜欢翼龙。
