蝶恋花 春日风暴

 

2005年春异暖，复活节前，诸花竞发，蚊虫多出，有如仲夏。

一日狂风暴雨骤作，艳粉娇红飞天坠地，一片狼藉。

自然之力，矫枉之功，可不敬乎？

昔日曾用英文十四行诗（ sonata）记此事。今再赋之。

 

春日百花都向暖，

未至清明，

柳絮随溪满。

开盛樱花知早晚？

黄昏已见蚊蝇乱。

 

一觉东君帘幕卷，

惊看盈余，

怒把东风遣。

横雨狂风天黑暗，

漫天飞舞残花片。

Spring Storm

 

When Horae fell into a slumber,

Her rivals raced to build an excess.

Before Easter warm days outnumber

The cool. Pear flowers eager to caress

Their sister crabapple and cherry.

The air’s hot more than the norm.

Gardener sweats, humming a song merry;

While flies and mosquitoes swarm.

 

Once Season wakes and sees the abuse

She dispatches a storm raging fast.

The roaring wind heralds bleak news:

Rain and hail the flowers blast.

 

Petals dance in air, white and red.

The order restored with numerous dead.
