The Three Robbers

Tomi Ungerer

         Tomi Ungerer就是Jean-Thomas，1931年出生于在法国，在德军占领的阿尔萨斯居住过，1956年，移民美国，因此他通晓英文、德文、法文，发表了140本图书，20世纪60年代末期，他和妻子迁到了加拿大，1976年，又带着妻子和3个孩子搬到了爱尔兰，做了一个农民。1998年，获得国际安徒生文学奖Hans Christian Andersen Award。2003年，被任命为47个国家的儿童教育大使。2007年，他的家乡专门为他建立了博物馆the Musée Tomi Ungerer/Centre international de l’illustration，并被欧洲委员会评选为欧洲10个最好的博物馆之一，下次去欧洲，除了去卢浮宫Musée du Louvre、罗丹博物馆Musée Rodin、凡尔赛宫Château de Versailles，别忘了去逛逛the Musée Tomi Ungerer/Centre international de l’illustration。
