我养的狗，叫小巫

我跛出院子的时候，它跟着

我们走过菜园，走过田埂，向北，去外婆家

我跌倒在田沟里，它摇着尾巴

我伸手过去，它把我手上的血舔干净

 

他喝醉了酒，他说在北京有一个女人

比我好看。没有活路的时候，他们就去跳舞

他喜欢跳舞的女人

喜欢看她们的屁股摇来摇去

他说，她们会叫床，声音好听。不像我一声不吭

还总是蒙着脸

 

我一声不吭地吃饭

喊“小巫，小巫”把一些肉块丢给它

它摇着尾巴，快乐地叫着

他揪着我的头发，把我往墙上磕的时候

小巫不停地摇着尾巴

对于一个不怕疼的人，他无能为力

 

我们走到了外婆屋后

才想起，她已经死去多年

When I limped out of the yard, it followed me

We passed by the vegetable garden, the ridge between farmlands, heading north, towards grandma’s house

I fell into the ditch, it wagged his tail

I reached for him, it licked and cleaned blood off my hand

 

He was drunk, he said he had a woman in Beijing

Prettier than I. When no work to do, they went to dance

He likes women who dance

He likes watching their butts shaking 

He said, they moan, they sound good. Unlike me, silent without a single sound

And my face always covered

 

I eat silently without a single sound

I call “Little Wizard, Little Wizard”, give it several chunks of meat

It wags its tail, barks happily

When he grabs my hairs and throws me against the wall

Little Wizard wags his tail constantly

To a person whose sense of pain is exhausted, he’s helpless

 

We went to the back of my grandmother’s house

Suddenly realized, she died many years ago.
