Such an old fashion story came to my attention with its ending: You could be rebellious against your parents and you could rebel against the world. However, in the end, you can't find destiny and you can't change fate.

.. She felt betrayed by her mom, her dad, her boyfriend Tom ... who was addicted to gambling... That's very painful to realize ... and very common for teens and young adults

... Pure heart - I'm so glad she ended up with Robert who is so much better than her boyfriend's secret gambling debts.

... I don't think this movie is so sweet or wholesome or even entertaining as others commented. I think people should be free to search for true love or their own compatible partner. Parents should not be so controlling as to force a marriage partner on their child. I believe most arranged marriages required the bride to be the submissive partner and rarely did a bride luck out to have a good loving husband with whom to fall in love.
