【简介】：
男人面子大过天
个中辛苦谁人知?
人们常说：“做人难，做女人更难”，行年五十的康天任（刘松仁饰）听在耳里只觉男人其实也很苦。天任妻子早逝后，他顿成单亲爸爸。虽然其后再婚，有第二任 妻子黄德荞（苏玉华饰）照顾儿子，但他这个一家之主却要同时照顾两个家――自己的家和德荞的外家，辛苦程度不足为外人道。及至儿子世熙（吴卓羲饰）长大成 人，他那不愿认真工作，只顾吃喝玩乐的性格，以及与大学生高芬（梁靖琪饰）奉子成婚一事，更令天任看着头痛。家庭担子重，工作同样叫人喘不过气，筋疲力尽 的天任竟不能履行丈夫职责，而妻子却被蒙在鼓里…
