以下是两颗真实的钻石资料的零售价格的比较 , 为何它们看来是相同级别 , 但价格又会不一样呢 ! 其中就是有其奥妙 , 要了解下列不同比较的钻石列表才会明白 , 我以 A ,B 作代号来区别这两颗真实的钻石 . 以下的 A 钻石的 (G.I.A) 详细报表 (Diamond Grading Report) 如下 . 原来报表是没有中文的 , 铜牛加上中文 , 方便网友阅读而己

* A Diamond Grading Report documents the specific characteristics of diamond. These reports are issued by the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A), which is among the most respected organization in the diamond industry.

(A) Diamond Details (A 钻石的明细表 )

A diamond of this color grade is highly prized, as a diamond with less color has never been found. This grade of diamond is absolutely colorless.

19. Clarity: IF (SI1 / SI2 / VS1 / VS2 / VVS2 / VVS1 / IF / FL)

This diamond has no internal identifying characteristics, even when viewed under a microscope at extreme magnification. These diamonds are not grade flawless usually because of very slight surface marking or minor details in their polish. Diamonds of this grade of clarity are extremely rare.

A diamond of this color grade is highly prized, as a diamond with less color has never been found. This grade of diamond is absolutely colorless.

以下是分析 A / B 之间的不同之处 , 请注意所有红字 .

看看明细表中第 4. 和第 5. 项 __ A 钻石比 B 钻石重量少了 0.04carat, 但每 carat 的售价反而高了 US$ 31,816.

原因如下 :

A 钻石的桌面是 56% 比 B 钻石的桌面 63% 更为标准 ( 钻石钻石亮晶晶鑑定 ( 4) 里有说钻石桌面最标准是从 55%__65)

桌面与深度的比例是非常会影响售价 .

A 钻石的 Symmetry( 瓣与瓣的对称性和匀称性 ) 是 Very Good ( 非常好 ). 看看 B 钻石的 Symmetry( 瓣与瓣的对称性和匀称性 ) 只是 Good( 好 ) 而己 , 所以 B 钻石的 Cut 比较差一级 .

A 钻石的 Girdle ( 腰部 ) 是 Medium, 看 B 钻石的 Girdle ( 腰部 ) 虽然是 Thin to Slightly Thick, 但有 Faceted ( 多了一个小面 ) 这就是两两颗真钻石之间的差别 , 而影响到它们之间的售价会相差十五万美金 .

在 GIA 详细报表中的 17.18.19. 这三项 , 是以认真负责任地重申三个 C 的专业评语 . 所以说买 1 carat 以上的钻石 , 最好是买有 GIA 的鑑定证明书的钻石 .
