　　这部影片的原声里你会发现这是一个逐光的过程。大部分都是这样。有一开始的阴暗感觉过度到明亮。很多熟悉的感觉。但依然很美很打动人。
　　总体来说，整张原声有很多出色的地方，尤其是"Kayleigh's Funeral" 无疑是全张唱片中最为优秀的一首管弦乐作品，而一曲钢琴曲"Drive To See Lenny"又把唱片带到了电影的主题。除此以外，Suby在"Evan's Plan"、"Evan Kills Tommy"和"Evan's Escape".中还运用了电子敲击的完美声效。"Prison Escape"是动作场景的引子直至唱片结束，伴随着一系列的快节奏乐段，最后是合成的人声带出《蝴蝶效应》的紧张和悬疑。
　　原声中有着明显的两大主题，一个是以电子氛围，另外一个就是管弦乐编曲的钢琴乐，两种音乐相互穿插转换，"Kayleigh's Funeral" 就是一个典型，Suby可以创作出近乎完美的交响乐，以缓慢的钢琴键音开首，进而逐渐进入钢琴主旋。弦乐在钢琴的背景中突围而出，这首作品是非常的悲哀而美丽的。
