Body and Soul

When body was flourishing
couldn't wait to grow up

When body was thrusting
the world seemed to change faster

When body was thrived
the pressure only got worse

Where was our mind
endless school years didn't help that much
Our soul needs to grow up too
find peace and tranquility of our own
We realize we could only do so much
catch up so much with the world
We have to find our own meaning

When the body is trying to maintain
the leveling
our soul wants to fly high
When our hearts find the frequencies to resonate
our soul bound to pace together
