#2 Musical Wizards~Strokses - Chpt 2

Chapter 2

     Allan was holding the golden dog he was looking at. Finally I figured it out. It was a Chihuahua! “Do you want this dog?” asked Ally. “I can buy it for you!” “It’s okay. I have enough money to buy it myself. But it would be nice if you could pay for its collar…” Allan gave a smile. “Sure,” said Ally as she dug out a 10 dollar bill from her purse.

I still couldn’t think of a name for my dog. I brought the Shih Tzu up to the counter and took out all of the money in my wallet. Then Ally dug out 2 pennies from her wallet and put them on the counter in the pile of money I made. The cashier took the money and let me pick a collar. I picked out a shiny, golden-brown collar with Ally and gave it to the cashier. I told them to print these words on the collar:

    Then they told me that they could print the name of the dog on it if we wanted. I looked at Ally. “Um…we haven’t gotten a name for it yet, is it okay if we come back some other day?” said Ally. “Sure, anytime you wish. Have fun with your dog!” The cashier winked at us and then my dad helped me put the collar on my dog’s neck. It looked very handsome. When I get home, the first thing I was going to do, was give it a bath.

     Allan brought his Chihuahua up to the counter. Allan put $20.80 on the counter and Ally put her 10 dollar bill on top of Allan’s pile of money. The cashier took the money and gave Ally a change of $4.50. Allan picked out a bronze  collar and gave it to the cashier. She printed their phone number at the back of the collar ([phone]) and asked if Allan has give it a name yet. Allan nodded. "Just print Chihuanie," said Allan. The cashier went and returned with Chihuanie's collar with its name on it. "Have fun," she said.

     The rain had stopped so we went to the other side of the plaza and into the carving store. Allan wanted them to carve a picture of Chihuanie’s head on the sides of the collar. I thought that was a smart idea. So I asked them to carve a picture of my Shih Tzu’s head on the sides of her collar. Then, when I put it on its neck, it looked way cuter. Now Ally, Allan, and I both have a dog!

     But Ally has a twin sister named Ellie. She is at China. She is coming back to Canada in 3 weeks and she is bringing a friend to Canada with her. She is an English-expert so she can understand us. She even has an account on www.twyf.sa, a website that Ally and I made. Ellie made an account for her and taught her all of the chat words. Ellie doesn’t have a dog yet.

     Before, I told you that we never knew we were going to bring 2 dogs on the car, but now do you understand? So anyways, we went onto our car. First we dropped off Ally and Allan. But then my parents let me bring my new dog to Ally’s house to play with her silky terrier, Igloo, and Allan’s new Chihuahua, Chihuanie. I almost passed out for joy. Ally brought me to her room. I let my Shih Tzu go and he immediately went to play with Igloo. Allan let Chihuanie go and he immediately went to play with Igloo and my Shih Tzu. I needed a name for it!

     Ally said, “So what are you naming it?” “I don’t know.” “Let’s look at it carefully and see,” Ally suggested. I looked at my Shih Tzu. It was white and had a lot of brown strokes. Then I brightened. “Why not call him Strokses?” “Uh, that’s not a word,” Ally said. “It’s either Strokes or something else.” “Who cares? Chihuanie isn’t a word!” “Alright! Strokses it is!” I beamed. “Come here. Your name is Strokses. Do you like it?” Strokses barked. “Alright!”

     Igloo, Chihuanie, and Strokses ran around the room and zigzagged around us. Ally and I turned on our laptops and went to www.twyf.sa. I typed in my username and password and clicked on my favourite chat room, suprstrs. There were a lot of people online.

     I looked through the list of people online. was online! It was Ally’s twin sister, Ellie, at China.
             monee-mii>: hey ell not at school yet?

             : nope it’s mighty early here right now, I couldn’t sleep

             : rily? oh yeah I forgot

             has just joined the conversation

             : hi sissy

             : hi ell wat’ya doin’ up so early there?

             : couldn’t sleep

             : oh and auntie just woke up

             : so…

             : and that friend of mine I’m bringin’ here, Melissa

             : yeah…

             : she sprained her ankle :’(

             : aww give this to her for me ((Melissa))

             : a hug? For good luck?

             : yep oh gotta go bye

             : bye oh and today I got a dog so did ur bro allan

             : that’s cool I’ll find out ‘bout that latr//bye 4 now

                                I       I closed the chat window. I felt really bad that Melissa sprained her ankle. I talked to my friend Lana (ur~lana>) for 10 minutes or so and then brought Strokses home. When I got home I gave it a warm bubble bath and then took a shower. I put on my favourite green and white striped t-shirt, and my favourite orange shorts.
