莎士比亚

让那些被他们的星座宠爱的人们，
夸说其公开的荣耀和得意的称号，
而我，被命运阻拦无法得此胜利，
在不被注目的快乐中我最以为傲。

王子的红人们舒展其叶如此娇好
但象在太阳巨眼下的那棵金盏草，
他们的骄傲与自身一同埋入地表
因为眉头一皱他们便光荣地死掉。

那个痛苦的战士因为战斗而闻名，
在一千次胜利之后一旦功败垂成，
他将被从荣名册中抹去不留迹痕，
并因他失败，一切都被忘得干净：

因此爱人并被爱的我，多么幸福
因我不会抹除人，也不会被抹去。

Let those who are in favour with their stars 
Of public honour and proud titles boast, 
Whilst I, whom fortune of such triumph bars, 
Unlook'd for joy in that I honour most. 
Great princes' favourites their fair leaves spread
