最近读新闻的点滴感悟

最近几个月以来，新闻里一直都是让人忧虑不安的消息，先是房地产泡沫破灭，华尔街金融危机，随之汽车，金融业，生物制药业纷纷裁员倒闭，股市随之忽起忽落，失业率达到创纪录的8.5%，随之是AIG不顾其他人的惨淡就业状况照常发放巨额分红，招致众怒；接着昨天一42岁越南裔移民因英语不好，失业后愤而持枪射杀13人后自杀。唉，这真是一个疯狂无望的世界！

好在对于信靠主耶稣的人来讲，我们虽不知明天会是阴雨天还是晴朗天，也不知自己客旅在世上的日子还有多长，但我们知道谁掌管明天。世界和时空都不能隔绝他对我们的爱。无论阴云密布，狂风暴雨，还是艳阳高照，月明风清，我们都一样感谢主的恩典，感谢那位独一无二的造物主。因为我们所求的，不在他之外。这世界终不能夺去他赐给我们的永生的应许和内心的平安与喜乐。

能认识和信靠主耶稣，真的是我们这一生最美的祝福！

1. Police: 5 children, father found dead in Wash. (AP)

GRAHAM, Wash. – Washington state investigators say five children between 7 and 16 years old have been found dead in a Graham area home and they may have been killed by their father. Troyer identified the dead children as four girls and a 7-year-old boy.

2. Gunman 'lying in wait' kills 3 Pittsburgh officers. (AP)

PITTSBURGH – A gunman wearing a bulletproof vest and "lying in wait" opened fire on officers responding to a domestic disturbance call Saturday, killing three of them and turning a quiet Pittsburgh street into a battlefield, police said.
