有小孩在美国上学的父母一定都知道，孩子如果缺课的话，家长必须要给老师写个条子，说明原因。
昨天，奥巴马总统在威斯康星州的GREEN BAY 参加一个关于医疗改革的群众集会。
John Corpus 带着他10岁的女儿参加集会，并有幸向总统提问。当他提到她的女儿由此而缺课时，奥巴马总统马上关心地问，是否需要他给老师写个条子，并认真地问清女孩的名字，坚持要写一个条子给老师，说明原因。
全场听众都会心地笑了。奥巴马有两个女儿在上学，他当然知道学校的规则，并且显然认真对待对学生遵守上学规则。他并没有因为这个10岁的女孩是来参加他主持的群众集会就忽视了学校的规则。
他走下讲台，亲自把字条递给这个幸运的女孩儿。

这样的总统也极其少见，认真过问这样的“小事”，令人敬佩。

是吗，美国人大概不会这么快就忘记了布什最丢人现眼的"Mission Accomplished"
的作秀了，那些在伊拉克战场上丧生的美国士兵的冤魂将永远跟随他，一个崇尚武
力，既无军事知识，又独断专行的美国最高指挥官。难怪老布什曾在另一个做州长
的儿子卸任的集会上痛不成声呢，都认为他实在是为这个当总统的丢人现眼的儿子
感到惭愧呀，美国历史上最差劲的总统，无论怎样作秀。
"Mission Accomplished," a phrase associated with completing a mission, is
in recent years particularly associated with a sign displayed on USS Abraham
Lincoln during a televised address by United States President George W.
Bush on May 1, 2003.
Bush stated at the time that this was the end to major combat operations
in Iraq. While this statement did coincide with an end to the conventional
phase of the war, Bush's assertion ù and the sign itself ù became controversial
after guerilla warfare in Iraq increased during the Iraqi insurgency. The
vast majority of casualties, among both coalition (approximately 98% as
of October 2008) and Iraqi combatants, and among Iraqi civilians, has occurred
since the speech.
On May 1, 2003, Bush became the first sitting President to make an arrested
landing in a fixed-wing aircraft on an aircraft carrier[1][2] when he arrived
at the USS Abraham Lincoln in a Lockheed S-3 Viking, dubbed Navy One, as
the carrier returned from combat operations in the Persian Gulf . He posed
for photographs with pilots and members of the ship's crew while wearing
a flight suit. A few hours later, he gave a speech announcing the end of
major combat operations in the Iraq War. Clearly visible in the background
was a banner stating "Mission Accomplished."
Bush's historic jet landing on the carrier was criticized by opponents as
an overly theatrical and expensive stunt. For instance, they pointed to
the fact that the carrier was well within range of Bush's helicopter, and
that a jet landing was not needed.[3] Originally the White House had stated
that the carrier was too far off the California coast for a helicopter landing
and a jet would be needed to reach it. On the day of the speech, the Lincoln
was only 30 miles (48 km) from shore but the administration still decided
to go ahead with the jet landing. White House spokesman Ari Fleischer admitted
that the president "could have helicoptered, but the plan was already in
place. Plus, he wanted to see a landing the way aviators see a landing."[4]
The Lincoln made a scheduled stop in Pearl Harbor shortly before the speech,
docked in San Diego after the speech, and returned to its home base in Everett,
Washington on May 6, 2003.

小布什比较真诚，作秀比较少
不清楚“该”对谁负责，国家?党?老百姓? 不可能让各方面都满意，所以，恐怕象
这句话，Don't Bite the Finger That Feeds You. 拿谁都钱，替谁说话。以往曾争论过，谁是鱼谁是水都说不清楚。现在，谁是国家的“主人”大概也有争议了，至少不是工人老大哥，也不是农民兄弟了。那这领导人还不难当?!
领导人都需要“作秀”，有做的让人满意，得民心，有做的让人倒胃口，下台。小
布什就是个很好的例子。
“还是给一个让我们欣赏他当总统后，实施改变，有政绩的例子吧!”同意，总统毕
竟是一国之首，大事不能糊涂，相信明年的这个时候，政绩一定显著，大家的日子
会比现在好过。
那就应当由这个群众集会的主办者来写条子呀？ 为什么是总统写？ 难道这个集会是总统亲自主办的？
如果确实是他亲自办的集会，那等到那个时候才写条子，是不是也太迟了？
还是给一个让我们欣赏他当总统后，实施改变，有政绩的例子吧!
平民总统，平民是形容词，总统才是名词。如果平民都胜任总统的话，那选总统干什么。摇奖就行吧!
请假条并不都是由学生监护人出具的，像学生上课时间去看医生或参加活动，医生办公室和活动主办方会都会主动出具请假条。
对比一下，温家宝在火车站关心一位生病女童，并号召国务院系统的工作人员捐款，那些现在大赞总统关心“小事”，对温家宝的行为是如何评价的？影帝？作秀？举重若轻？
想一想，比一比，就知道中国的领导人太难当了！
所谓仁者见仁，智者见智，毕竟这是女孩和她学校老师都接受的。不欣赏奥巴马的
做法也无所谓，最让人不齿的就是口出恶言的，可能在自己家里说这种话说惯了。
请别在公共场合丢人显眼。
假条不应该是学生监护人来写吗？ 怎么变成了活动主角来写了？ 按照这个逻辑，我翘课去参加舞会，应该找和我跳舞的那个人来写条子？？ 我去摇滚音乐会，应该找主唱歌星来给我写条子？
这个学生获得了提问机会，如果没有获得，那就没人给她写条子了，对吗？ 也就是说，如果不是奥巴马注意到她，那条子就不写了，是吗？
条子里面要写清楚旷课理由，‘She's with me’ 算什么理由？ 如果She's with me 是个理由，那不就是特权思想吗？ 因为自己是总统，所以就可以，是吗？
作秀。
