Dear Song,
Today the lake is foggy in the morning. Kids are playing in the water; Now, more people walking along the lake in shorts and sleeveless.Summer is here, and as it is elsewhere in many places.
I read your newly posted article today, immediately after i posted mine; also a fresh post of what i edited for a travel piece I did a year ago.
In reading in between the lines of your writings, I was touched by your spirit as a resourceful and creative translator. What is more is your willingness of helping others as an educator as well. I found the conversations in recent days most interesting and encouraging.
Your writings is of great value to me, not only in the sense of language learning but also as the life experience that very few would like to share. But most of all, your career of 38 years in bridging both two of the languages, in which thoughts, cultures, and values that embodied,as i could imagine, had enriched many minds.
I see the conversations that we come upon most enlightening. For which I feel grateful and to you, a great deal I owe.Thank you.
I look forward to your more posts and the benefiting exchanges among us and all in the forum in years to come.
