This morning I took my car to the garage to check for coolant leaking. I have two things to say about this event – one very relevant, one not so much.

Relevant – I found a new garage. Last time my car died I had it towed there and I liked their service. So I’m making them my official garage going forward. The one I have been going to for the past several months is not half decent (read: scamming).

Not so relevant – given how much trouble my car’s been giving me I bought this book called Car Smart. Interesting book! Full of cartoons! Written by a woman! If you know nothing and nothing about car (like yours truly) you should definitely get this book.

Anyhow. I left the car at the garage and went to the grocery store next store to get some breakfast (coffee and bagel). And it’s there I realized that I forgot my wallet at home! (Luckily I had a few loose dollars in my purse so I was able to get breakfast all right.)

Well got to go home to get it. The Mapquest says the garage is 2 some miles from my home. After some serious mind boggling, I decided to foot it. After all, my feet, other than being the display vehicle for my shoes, function as a transportation alternative as well.

I made it home in 30 minutes (I know!) and I was positively beaming. It felt great! Then of course I was sore and stuff afterwards – but that’s another story.

So I rested some and made the journey once again backwards. And on my way there I saw some reality life (NOT TV).

Like this. I saw one woman jogging (what I meant to say is walking in a rather fast pace) being closely followed by a man. I sensed (! Immediately too) something fishy’s going on. And I was right!

The woman stopped by a car on the curb and said to the man: Bob (?) you fucking cheated on me. At least emotionally. You went out with a woman.

Well that’s it. You see I didn’t mean to be intruding so I walked by them quite quickly. But I did hear the woman continuing to raise her voice although I didn’t quite make out what she said.

Isn’t real life just as entertaining as TV??

Then I got my car, and on my way back I bought a hot dog, some used books (our neighborhood’s book sale is on again) and then watched a movie on TV.

And that’s about it. Well of course, I’m saving all the really juicy bits to myself. Haha.

Oh oh, almost forgot. I’m reading this really funny book called “The Know-It-All : One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World”. It’s about someone’s reading the encyclopedia.  It’s full of useful and entertaining facts of the world and the author himself. Although I can’t remember any bit now, I dare you not to say it is funny as hell.

Ciao~
