去阿拉斯加看什么?  冰川，雪山，麦金利(北美最高峰），野生动物，海鲜, 北极光, 北极圈(Arctic Circle, 极地), 还有夏日午夜的太阳.

Fairbanks 在６月底１２：４８AM日落，２：５７AM日出。只有２个小时没有太阳，但是由于日出前与日落后的霞光，天空一直很亮。相对而言 fairbanks 算是个＂大＂城市，还是阿拉斯加大学所在地。１２月底是１０：５９AM日出，２：４０PM日落，只有３个多小时日照时间。

在菲尔班克斯往东北走, 可以到育空河边. 沿6号阿拉斯加公路到尽头, 是一个称为Circle的地方. 每年6月15日到25日, 没有日出日落, 24小时可以看见太阳. 每年12月20日前后, 24小时不见太阳. 按定义此地应该属于极地了, 可能是旅游者最容易到达的极地地区. 此处是美国有人口常驻的最北边的市镇之一(约100居民), 在育空河边, 最早是淘金的地方.

在菲尔班克斯往西北走, 沿Dalton Highway (连接2号阿拉斯加公路)可以到达北极圈:

The midnight sun circles the northern horizon and hides behind the Brooks Range. The best view is from the top of Gobblers Knob, 17 miles (27km) north of the Arctic Circle and 43 miles (69 km) south of Coldfoot, or north of Atigun Pass where you can experience a full 24 hours of sunlight.

Day1: flight to ANC (Anchorage)
Day2: Anchorage -> Homer, 219 mile, 5 hr, for bald eagle and the bay
Day3: Homer -> Seward, 169 mile, 4 hr, and walking to Exit Glacial
Day4: glacial cruise
Day5: Seward -> Valdez, 418 mile, 9 hr, for "Swiss in Alaska"
Day6: Valdez -> Fairbanks, 352 mile, 8 hr, passing the eastern Denali NP
Day7: Fairbanks -> Arctic Circle, 198 mile, 5-7.5 hr (10-15 hr round trip)
Day8-9: Fairbanks -> Anchorage, 361 mile, 7 hr, passing the western Denali NP and McKinley NP
Day10: ANC, fly back
