Some things Never Age, Just Ask Dr. Ruth

Please allow me to borrow the name of topic from a ny times article about Dr.Ruth to start my little notes here.

I had a privilege to meet Dr. Ruth and watched her live talk show today. Here are some thoughts i like to share with you, or I invite you to learn more advices from her.

1. She looks young, very energized for her age, and it made me wonder she must have done sth. right in her life.

2. All the audiences learned her experts in a very relaxed and humorous way.

3. Sex is science, there is no need to feel ashamed to talk about it, at least that is the impression I had from her.

4. We can learn from experts, teach our own body to make our life more meaningful.

5. We should be proud of our own body; at least we have to tell ourselves that that is as good as it gets.

6. I wished that I am able to learn more from her if I understand English better.

The talk show was arranged by school I m attending. The target audiences are not me, a mature student, but the university/college students. I was amazed by the questions that students asked. Colleagues have been joked about me attending the show and firmly told me that I must have done sth. right since I have () kids already. I wanted to see Dr. Ruth in person anyway.

Another thing I learned is the diseases that are related to sex, and those topics related to diseases just blew my mind away. I guess it is a shocking thing for us(Chinese). It is a serious topic. The purpose of the talk show is to educate the students to have a healthy sex in life, I guess, not to get any bad side of sexes. I gain something in mind on how to guide my children in their life in college/university as well even though I know I worried too early.

Love making is not only about having sex. ( i like this saying)
