【简介】：
乾隆末年，诸皇子争位，其中最有可能继位的是为乾隆所称许的十一皇子永瑆和十五皇子永琰。为此，众大臣在朝野内外明争暗斗，二位皇子的母亲也频出奇招以讨乾隆欢心。永琰天性豁达，对此了无兴趣；永瑆却充满野心，并得和珅鼎力相助，渐占优势。为对付永琰，和珅将其心上人花椒下狱；永琰冒死救出，和珅随即派兵追杀。乾隆得知，要求和珅誓死保护。是杀是保，和珅两难，最后只好应承以先求自保；可永瑆不惜牺牲盟友，着兵全力追杀。事已至此，和珅只好携永琰逃亡……
