2009 Indianapolis Chinese New Year Celebration

Photos taken during the 2009 Indianapolis Chinese New Year celebration. Note that the ugly backdrop is gone from the previous years. It is replaced with slide projections.

On the downside, to make the background visible, the light on the performers are dimmed significantly, making photography more challenging. On the upside, my camera did its job well.

1 Dragon dance in the dark. The effect is: the audience only saw the dragon, with the performers almost invisible. If flash is used, the performers will be equally visible.
