Snow

White are the far-off plains,
And white the fading forests grow;
The wind dies out along the height
And denser still the snow,
A gathering weight on roof and tree
Falls down scarce audibly.
The meadows and far-sheeted streams
Lie still without a sound;
Like some soft minister of dreams
The snowfall hoods me around;

很喜欢Loreena McKennitt's嗓子, like voice from heaven... 不管怎么说, Michelle Kwan的成就对美国人对华裔的看法还是有一定影响的.

歌很美,我也很喜欢figure skating, 但是总觉的Michelle Kwan是走Nancy Kerrigan的路子的(当然比nancy好),是走skill一派的,动作比较生硬.

几年前有一个得奥林匹克冠军的俄国女孩,忘了她的名字了,觉得那场她和Nancy Kerrigan 对抗冠军的最后一场舞真的是天蔌之舞,音乐好,skating 也很美,很skillful可惜自那以后她就酗酒沉沦了,最后连一般的难度的动作都不行了,真是令人嗟叹.....
