manners?

What kind of culture or atmospher is suitable for us that can train us to be polite, knowing what is good manners. Knowing what is freedom, how we are going to get along with people surrounding us, why should we  say thanks after somebody helps, when to say sorry when u offend someone. These basic manners since we were young, we should know nut so disappointed our people do not even have these thoughs in their mind, they think it 's natural why we should say thanks when sb helps, nobody owes u --at least we should think about that--especially every time after i came back our homeland, we don't even have the basic politeness, how can wesay we have 5,000 years hostory, culture to guide us?
Sorry to say that, it may be a bit hassle, but i feel so sad, our ecnomic is growing up, human being --the basic manners didn't match with that--my dear sisters and brothers.
