Homework for Cancun trip

Hotel :

对有些人来说，全包酒店未必值得。因为如果去了后发现你不喜欢那些饮食，或是要出去玩一天，钱是退不了的。

palace resort and royal hideaway are the best all-inclusive resorts in Cancun area.

select a hotel in middle section hotel zone.  one end close to downtown too noisy because of all the bars.
The other end (believe it's a dead end) is too far from everything else.
I liked the location of the Hyatt (there are at least 2 Hyatts) where we stayed - every room has an ocean view I believe and you can ly in bed watching sun rise. I personally do not like big resorts. It is also conveniently located at the midpoint of the hotel zone and close to either end.

Chetzinitza (spelling?), Isla Majores, and Cozmel are some places we liked. Tulum is another nice maya ruin on the ocean.

住在Royal Sands。这是个五星级的member-owned resort。有时有些人自己不去，会委托管理部门出租。它的每一套房都是朝海的。而一般旅馆就没有这个保证，除非多花钱。Royal Sands的设施和服务绝对都是一流的。

坎昆附近可玩的地方很多，要看你呆多久。那里旅游服务很好，去了现买旅游团票就可以。记住一点，别在旅馆里买旅游团票。坎昆的HOTEL ZONE中心地带有shopping center，那里的旅行社卖的同样的票只有旅馆里一半的价钱。

Credit card大店都收，但Cash还是必要的。我都是到那儿临时少换一点cash，找到好的汇率再多换一点。Cancun感觉跟美国的resort差别不大，很多店也直接收美元，但付Pesu多半会更划算。Credit card 有２％到３％的transaction fee， 记得AE是２％。要是有Bank of America ATM卡的话，可以在墨西哥Santander Serfin银行的ATM直接取现金，这应该是最划算的，不过我在Baja试过，因为看不懂西文而放弃。也许你可以找到有Santander Serfin的英文ATM。
