【简介】：

　　 军人的人生永远与国家的命运、民族的兴衰紧紧相连。

　　1964年夏，北京某火车站，夜幕笼罩下，两个神秘的军人正注视着上火车的大学生。火车上，宋朝和伍岩松意外机见，伍的恋人郭小艳和师弟向旗也在火车上，他们还认识了来自东北的技术工人孔汉川，大家还是猜测不出火车会把他们拉到哪里去……

        宋朝、伍岩松为首的一大批研究生、本科生，在我国著名空气动力学家、国防部专家组副组长郭庄教授的推荐下，一夜之间，从校园里消失。来到荒凉的河滩上，接受了国家赋予他们的历史使命：为共和国设计建造急需用于飞机、导弹、火箭等尖端武器研制的风洞，并为征服一个个科技难关付出了令常人难以想像的艰辛。
