The University of Auckland is New Zealand's top-ranked research university (Performance Based Research Fund report released in April 2004).
We are the only university in New Zealand (and one of only four in Australasia) with membership of Universitas 21, an exclusive group of major research-intensive universities.
The University of Auckland is also the only New Zealand member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, an association of some of the world's premier universities.
The University of Auckland Library is the biggest university library in New Zealand and ranks alongside the top five university libraries in Australia.

听说过某豪言：现在以学校为荣，将来学校以我为荣。我永远没有这样的雄心，心想，学校不以我为耻就好了。回想，也是命运使然，当初是误打误撞而选择奥大的。那时候的心态，在中国，咱一不够聪明二不够努力，没念上一流的学校，在NZ这么小，不选个最好的学校，这哪成啊？没想到，真没想到，呵呵。
其实这个排名的东西,综合因素很多,肯定有偏颇,而且评判的机构有没有权威性,也不知道.就是看看,乐乐而已~~
