在04年有“英国格莱美”之称的英国音乐大奖(Brit Music Awards)上 “The Darkness”乐队获得了最佳英国摇滚组合、最佳英国乐队以及最佳英国专辑(《Permission to Land》)三个重量级奖项。《Permission to Land》的灵感来自上世纪七八十年代的摇滚乐，这支来自伦敦的四人团体The Darkness是以兄弟档Justin Hawkins（主唱、吉他、合成器）与Dan Hawkins（吉他）为中心，加上贝斯手Frankie Poullain和鼓手Ed Graham组成。乐队走复古路线，回归当年摇滚乐那华丽夸饰的舞台风格，他们的现场表演尤为令人惊叹。


在这个被预言为摇滚音乐大势已去的年代里，有The Darkness以一己之力为流行金属这片领域重新燃起星星之火。 zt

不过他们去年解散了。

今后几天我会陆续发几首他们的歌，不知道能否从他们的声音中听出 Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Sparks, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, T. Rex, Def Leppard, and Thin Lizzy.
