We tried to call you back right after your line was cut off, your home # was not right and your cell phone doesn't have enough fund to accept our call. So I have to contact you by email.
We don't have enough time to buy Dell computer that you want because those relatively cheap ones are made from oversee, it will take ~8 days to build and ~5 days to ship. I called them and they could not guarantee that we are able to receive it <5/27/04.

Therefore, shopping in store is the only choice. There are a couple of brands in the store: Toshiba, hp, sony, compaq. It was said Toshiba is the best. I went to stores and found the cheapest Toshiba notebook for this week: :
price: $1312.50 (there are $200 rebate), Intel pentium 4, 2.8GHz & 802.11g Wireless, 512MB DDR SDRAM, 60 GB hard drive.
I only found one hp with Centrino:
price: $2152.50 ($250 rebate), Intel Centrino Mobile, Intel Pentium M 1.66Hz, 512MB memery, 80 GB hard drive, 802.11g wireless card.
One Toshiba similar to this hp is ~$2362.50 ($150 rebate), 256MB and 40GB.
I think Centrino Mobile may be just a kind of new battery that can last much longer than the common battery.
Let me know which one she likes before 5/25. Don't forget we will leave on 5/27 I want to test to see if it works properly a couple of days before we leave.
