Red River Valley (红河谷）是网友IwannaKnow在《美语世界》论坛贴的英语歌曲, 他还贴了中文版的《雅拉玛》。他说这首歌曲是志愿到西班牙反抗法西斯的国际纵队英美士兵，利用加拿大民歌《红河谷》的曲调编的一首小调，这些国际主义战士经历了惨烈的雅拉玛战役，很多人壮烈牺牲。不久，部分士兵从西班牙辗转来到中国，支援中国人民的抗战，于是，从那时起，《雅拉玛》就在华夏大地流传开来，成为小学音乐课堂上的保留曲目，经久不衰。

读了网友IwannaKnow的《雅拉玛》，让我想起了海明威的作品:For Whom the Bell Tolls .我喜欢海明威的简洁明了的写作风格。大学时读过他写的一篇小小说：A Clean, Well-Lighted Place，印象非常地深刻。 文章描写一位孤独的老人，在咖啡馆喝酒。咖啡馆要打佯了，老人也不舍离去。因为他不愿意回家，他无法忍受那孤零零的家。--林贝卡 评论于：2007-11-17 07:21:01
