西部之旅

出发 2006年10月14日 雨

我们于10月14日下午离开家，前往目的地拉斯维加斯。我先生开车，我和孩子们坐在车上。这几天，我一直都很疲惫。上得车来，竟然迷迷糊糊地睡过了Illinois, Missouri, 醒来时，竟到了OKlahoma, 我们去McDonald吃了早餐。

外面淅沥沥的下起了雨，我一点也不喜欢雨季，到也让我想起了我的故乡，一年四季似乎有下不完的雨，总是很潮湿。然而，雨水也使故乡山清水秀，使故乡的女人也出落的水灵灵的。突然想起小时候的朋友，军军，佳佳，小小，自从93年离开故乡，来到美国后，童年的伙伴早已杳无音信了，平时忙碌的都没有时间去想他们了。

 先生打断了我的思绪，他开始评论起地形来：small trees, cattles. "Kids , look at the land, grassland is good for cattles."  先生和孩子们一问一答开始了。

"Are there any buffos left?"
"No, they are all wiped out."

My kids always has endless questions, especialy my oldest one. He was even awarded Most Inquisitive Kid in the kindergarten. 我看着窗外，看到一片片sage ,想起了那首感人深情的歌曲：Scarborough Fair

Texas 10－15－2006 Sunday Rainy

我一边听着音乐，看着窗外，不知不觉的就来到了Texas。已经是中午11：30了，我们去Hooters吃了中餐。Hooters是以酥脆鲜美的chicken wings 和性感健美的waitress而闻名。

Grand Canyon 10-21-2006

As soon as our van arrived in Grand Canyon, "It is Grand Canyon. It is a miracle." my kids cannot help shouting excitedly.

那天的太阳是如此的亮，天是如此的蓝，蓝天白云，映着壮观的大峡谷，我不得不感叹自然的巧夺天工。
