老大在中学的合唱团和本市的 All City Chorus 每年都要演唱这首歌。 曲子很美， 每次我都听得如痴如醉，弦律已经哼得很熟了。前段时间我们教会唱诗班排练时， 指挥选了这首歌。 这是我第一次完完整整地学习歌词， 感觉很震撼， 因为排练时间很紧， 我们很快就学下一首歌了。 今天的礼拜中，指挥选了 #312 。 我翻开厚厚的 HYMNAL ， #311 "Amazing Grace" 在左页， #312 "Come, Thou fount of every blessing" 在右页。 唱晚 #312 后， 我没有合上手中的 choir book 。礼拜完了， 再次仔仔细细地读了 "Amazing Grace" 的歌词， 人就怔在那里，感觉除了震撼 还是震撼！

回家的路上， 忍不住和家人分享我的感受。 LG( 也是指挥 ) 问大家知不知道谁是 "Amazing Grace" 的作者， 随后就讲了 John Newton 的故事 -- 怎么从一个黑奴贩子转变成一个牧师， 最后成为英国废奴制度的积极倡导者。老大也把历史书上的相关知识给我们介绍了。车里安静下来， 窗外是 New England 的金秋， 天是那么的蓝， 云是那么的白， 满眼是金黄火红的枫叶！
