Preexistence
Translated by Poetic Dancer
To flee, simply flee into the body of a Butterfly
Save biting lips and spoiling parents’ plot and herb
Save waiting till spitting dry of all blood
To rebel, then rebel to the whole mankind!
Whoa, instantly he took off his ink-dipped black gown
he took off his skin
off the roadside pavilions his heart lingered day and night
off cloud and water
And he even shocked me by this particular scene: so easily
he took off his bone!
The last view impresses me with infinite yearning: they jumped fearlessly
“Here comes he!” shivered the Butterfly
who had waited for millions of years on the tree
That night, the moon bended lower than the roof
And the tide rose to both banks of the green brook
Only one word she did not forget
Fighting back the tears of all kinds of feelings
She pressed down her left wing, leaned onward,
Saying, Brother Liang, Welcome,
Welcome …
