I\'ve got to see you.

总是迷恋她的声音，忙碌疲倦了一天的身心，在她的歌声中，慢慢舒展开来。

急诊室深夜，84岁的老人摔倒后神志模糊，边上是守候的太太。我问老人，你知道你在哪儿么？老人说在医院，我指着老太太问他，你能告诉我她是谁么？老人说，是jane.我问老太太，他说得对么？

老太太看着我说，我是Laura，Jane是他的前妻。我听了心里一阵凄凉，老年痴呆的病人往往只记得久远的事情。老太太凑过去亲了亲老先生的额头，说，没关系，你知道我是Laura的，对么。

整个晚上值班的时候总是忍不住想起他们。

还有几天，一个朋友的人生历程就要进入新的一章了，这首歌就送给你了。多保重。

落花飘零 2008-12-07 16:07:51 回复 悄悄话 苹果花，狼mm,一程哥,很多时候爱情也是一种信念，虽然他已经不记得自己的名字了，但是相信如果他没有这个病，自己仍然是他心中的最爱。我相信Laura明白自己其实是幸运的，那个前妻不能够和他白头偕老，自己才是那个真正守在他身边的人。

多少次我们说只要曾经拥有，我们说不管怎么样，你都是我心中最刻骨铭心的那个，但是只有那个真正守在他身边的人，才是最幸福的。其他都是空的。
纵然平行 2008-12-07 12:07:03 回复 悄悄话 Reading this piece saddened me. It is inconceivable if one day, all of my accumulated and cherished memories through years would vanish without trace; running such thought in my mind sent chills to my spinal cord :(.

Should we take one day a time and live it at the fullest ?

Hoping your pt’s conditions improve and soon be able to return home for the Christmas holiday.

Laura挺大度的, 因为人生使她懂得了, 有一些东西是没法改变的, 人能做的就是在自己可控制的范围内Make the best out of it^-^
