Mytelephoneisdisconnected.在强调一个单词或一个意思时，我们经常听到的有以下三种方式：louder,longerandwithhigherpitch.读的声音高一点，声音拉长一点，high－pitch中文很少对应的翻译，可能是因为（说）中文很少使用这个手段，但英语确是太普遍了，暂且把它叫做声频（或音频）吧，因为它于音的频率有关。(pitch->frequency)。

PitchandVolume(2)-High-pitchedforemphasisofwordswithinasentence举个例子：IamINterestedintheDIfference,这儿的"DI"用加大音量来过渡到结束。狮吼的声音就是大音量大声音。
IamVERYHappytoMEETyou.前者highpitch,后者highvolume.大家注意到没有，这个是INterested用升高pitch来表示强调的，也就是读成高频来强调。在这里再加一点，在句子中强调的音节时通常用高频的方式来实现，句子结束时强调的音节用音量[阅读全文]

这个句子是在DavidAlanStern的教材里摘录的句子。他的jump-upandstep-downintonation很好。他说句子中重要的单词用jump-upinpitch的方式来实现；结束的时候降低pitch。但我觉得除了降低pitch外，还要适当的加大音量，然后结束。还是那上面的句子为例：
