N年前，本长老准备homehunting了。经朋友介绍，认识了一个agent,面谈之后就达成协议了：房子成交之后，她得返还其中的1%佣金给我这个买家。条件是她给我们提供信息，我们则尽量不让她带我们去看，没有其它任何附加条件。后来因为没有看中满意的老房子，就去买了新房，她也没有拿到佣金，但她没有怨言，我后来还把她推荐给了别的朋友。

可是如果你去掉tax,homerelatedpayment,and401Kcontributions之后，对到手的钱还要算一算怎么用的话，你就没有达到“富”的标准。

刚才Google一下有关资料，发现最富的１％美国家庭，掌握着这个国家３８％的财富，每年拿走５７.５％的capitalincome(capitalgains,dividends,interest,andrents),拥有averageAFTER-TAXincomeof$701,500(2003data)。什么时候我要是进入这个圈子，我也一定要来显一下过过瘾。现在离此门坎还有不少距离，只好埋头再想赚钱的法子去了。

人家已经说了，中西部propertytax很高，房子升值也很慢，你建议人家勒紧裤带买100万的毫宅，然后又说钱紧张的话可以租出去一个房间什么的，不知在你心里买这样的房子的目的是什么？仅仅是为了向国内的父老乡亲说你成功了，买了毫宅了？
