Calgary的房价,几年前只有Vancouver的40%.这几年石油价格疯长,卡市房价也疯长,现在大概有温市的70%左右,卡市的人腰包鼓了,温市的房价突然看上去没有哪么高了.

俺找的那个项目,今天和PM通了话,他说两房的单元全部长到$875.现在的从$795到$850不等,还有两个$900(就不动了).一个一房单元空出来了,原来$675,现在长到$800.算了一下,这样每月可长$715,一年就是$8,580.俺10%的比例算,意味着以后出售时这个楼可以多卖$85,800.不过,要三个月以后才生效.
如果在俺本地,每年只能长4%,就没有那么好的事.

92年学了一门投资课，就用仅有的一点钱在WaterhouseSecurities开了帐户。每天课一上完，回到家就是目不转睛地盯着CNBC。。。
那时没有网络，手续费特贵，买一百股股票，要$150；两百股，$300。。。没有discount。所以基本是给经纪赚钱。
一直到2000年的crash之前，还挺成功。

为什么要到农村去？因为农村容易生存，容易积累小的胜利。在实力小的时候，没有实力在城市操作的时候，不得已的策略。去农村的最终目的，是为了最后的进城。
