The Battle of the Century 51

An Analysis of Xi Jinping's Addiction to Character

To understand a person, one must observe not only their words but also their actions. This is especially true for a totalitarian monstrosity like the CCP, which has absorbed the dregs of history—a fusion of three thousand years of wicked techniques and Marxist-Leninist cult theories—and its addictive lying must be constantly monitored—saying one thing to someone's face and doing another behind their back.

Those who wave the banner of anti-corruption have transferred over a trillion dollars in illicit wealth to offshore banks; those who proclaim the rule of law have committed countless acts of treason and harm to the nation. How can they possibly convince over a billion starving people that the Marxist-Leninist evil party is "serving the people"?

Xi Jinping has vowed to inherit Mao Zedong's legacy and push the human catastrophe created by Mao to a new climax… If you insist on asking what the difference is between Xi Jinping and Mao Zedong, then I can responsibly tell you: Problems must be addressed, and bad habits must be corrected. Mao Zedong, constrained by the limited resources of his time, could only exploit neighboring countries through the spread of the "Little Red Book," such as Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. Xi Jinping, however, has extended his reach globally through the powerful influence of the CCP's "blue-gold-yellow" ideology, with almost all Western powers falling victim, becoming states partially infiltrated and subverted by the CCP.

Xi Jinping's governing goals are exceptionally ambitious: not only to surpass Stalin and Mao Zedong to become a supreme emperor, but also to overthrow the United States and become the world leader. He has largely achieved the former goal, and is now pushing forward the latter with the full force of the nation.

So, how should we view Xi Jinping's obsessive and addictive personality? Below, we will analyze and interpret this from three aspects.

I. Petty and Relentless Pursuit of Justice

Xi Jinping's heart is as big as a camel's, yet his mind is as small as a pinhole. He spends his days, with nothing better to do than hide behind big data surveillance to monitor the words and actions of officials and ordinary citizens.

From initially arresting online leaders and dissidents, the crackdown has gradually expanded to include writers, lawyers, professors, pastors, internet celebrities… no profession has been spared. Finally, it has escalated to the point that anyone who dares to allude to the Great Leader online will face a "crackdown on organized crime," enduring the censorship of posts, bans, account suspensions, and arrest.

This great new era not only persecutes intellectual elites and law-abiding citizens but also "turns the blade inward" to cut down the wealthy and political elites.

Jack Ma and Wang Jianlin were brutally purged simply because they inadvertently let slip something on a TV program. Ma said, "Eight out of ten people with many books on their office bookshelves are liars." Wang Jianlin then added, "They not only don't read, but they pretend to read a lot." Both were subsequently investigated.

Premier Li Keqiang was implicated and killed simply for stating a series of figures at a press conference: "China is a populous developing country. Our per capita annual income is 30,000 yuan, but 600 million people earn only 1,000 yuan a month. 1,000 yuan might not even be enough to rent a room in a medium-sized city." This exposed the lie of common prosperity.

The era of blatant disregard for facts and widespread silence has evolved to the point where any official who privately or while drunk expresses dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping is subject to "selective anti-corruption," ranging from dismissal to investigation. Countless examples illustrate this.

To preserve the exploitative power he so painstakingly acquired, Xi Jinping has resorted to transferring his own fears onto the entire nation, creating a climate of fear and insecurity.

The result of this overreaction is an unprecedented living hell. If you discuss historical tyrants, incompetent rulers, or incompetent emperors online, the first reaction of the cyber police is, "This guy is alluding to the current emperor again."

Whether you talk about King Zhou of Shang's "wine pool and meat forest," King Li of Zhou's "eyes on the road," Qin Shi Huang's "burning of books and burying of scholars," Emperor Yang of Sui's "ambition and love of grandiose projects," King You of Zhou's "lighting the beacon fires to amuse the feudal lords," or quote Emperor Hui of Jin's "Why don't they eat meat porridge?", or the "jade body lying horizontally at night" of Emperor Gao Wei of Northern Qi, Emperor Chongzhen of Ming's "the more diligent the government, the more the country perishes," or even Empress Dowager Cixi's ceding of territory and paying indemnities, or Yuan Shikai's attempt to restore the monarchy… all are considered a great disrespect to the great new leader.

So the questions are:

1. Why do the cyber police never associate discussing "wise rulers" with praising the current emperor?

2. Does this mean that the current emperor is single-handedly rectifying the wasteful deeds of past tyrants and incompetent rulers? 3. When a society progresses to the point where even true history is forbidden, do you think the ruler was a wise or foolish monarch?

Let me tell you another ghost story from my own experience. After reading it, you'll understand just how terrifying a dark age of censorship and silence truly is. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when I was writing a "New Poetry Review," I quoted a poem by the Indian poet Iqbal, "You Created the Night, I Made the Lamp":

You created the night, I made the lamp,

You created clay, I sculpted cups and bowls.

You created deserts and jungles,

I built gardens, dug mines.

I can make glass from gravel,

and turn poison into antitoxin serum.

And guess what? My article was censored! I investigated carefully and finally roughly understood that it was probably because the poem contained the word "poison." However, this precisely demonstrates how much fear resides in the hearts of those who commit heinous acts. Constantly fearing being overthrown, constantly dreading trial, what happiness can one find in sleepless nights like this?

You persecuted Dong Yaoqiong, but there will be Jiang Yaoqiong; you persecuted Li Wenliang, but there will be Zhang Wenliang; you persecuted Peng Zaizhou, but there will be Yang Zaizhou; you persecuted Li Kangmeng, but there will be Wang Kangmeng; you persecuted Ren Zhiqiang, but there will be Zhao Zhiqiang; you persecuted Li Zhiying, but there will be Wu Zhiying… Even if you kill every rooster that crows at dawn, the sun will still rise.

However, with each person you persecute, the anger in the hearts of hundreds of millions of awakened people will grow stronger. Don't think that temporary silence represents surrender; when the karst beneath the earth reaches its breaking point, it will erupt like an unstoppable volcano.

Your behavior is ugly, but your death will be even uglier. The more brutal you are to the people today, the more ferocious the people's revenge will be in the future. Learn from the past, for the future. The fates of dictators throughout history, including Hitler, Mussolini, Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi, Maduro, and Khamenei, serve as the best proof.
