I read two articles about Dining and Entertainment on “Bucks County Herald” November 14, 2024.  Barbara gave me the newspaper.
1）（A) Recipe of the week 
For hearty vegetables, baked goods and meats, head to your local farmers market.
There are two weekends left for Bucks County’s popular farmers markets. They are set for Nov.16 and 23. After Thanksgiving the vendors prepare for winter market.
The markets are great places to purchase hearty vegetables and apples as well as baked goods, prepared foods, meats, poultry, dog treats, honey and gift items. 
Being able to support our local farmers is an extra bonus as we plan holiday meals as well as regular weeknight eating.
As you looking around for vegetables, consider acorn squash, which are easy to make and rich with flavor and nutrients. Acorn squash contains antioxidants such as vitamin C that help strengthen bones and blood vessels.It also has vitamin A, which helps improve the health of your lungs, heart and other vital organs.
(B) I think: 
The skin of the acorn squash is hard. I call the ones with hard skin pumpkins and the ones with soft skin squash.  But in the supermarkets in the United States, all of which call squash . I eat squash in summer and pumpkin in winter. We also eat pumpkin seed kernels.  Many American families carve pumpkins into Halloween decorations and place them in front of the door.
There are also farmers markets in the United States. In autumn, our case worker give us some free shopping vouchers can buy in the farmers market. Once, I was given a $50 shopping voucher and a piece of paper with many addresses and business hours of farmers markets. But the nearest one is still three stops away from where I live. I don't have a car and there are no buses nearby, I can't go, I gave the shopping voucher to my neighbor.

2）(A) Peddler’s Village Grand Illumination
Peddler’s  Village will kick off the holiday season this year on Friday, Nov.15, with its Holiday Kickoff Weekend that begins with an evening Grand Illumination Celebration, during which Santa and Mrs. Claus switch on a million colorful lights.
The Holiday Kickoff Weekend also marks opening of the annual Gingerbread Competition and Display, which includes more than 100 carefully crafted gingerbread creations. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
The holiday lights and gingerbread display continue through Jan.19.
(B) I think:
This is the customs and culture of the United States. As soon as November comes, many families hang up colorful lights. Colorful lights were also hung on the street lamp posts near me to celebrate Christmas.
