《山居秋暝》 -  王維

空山新雨後，天氣晚來秋。
明月松間照，清泉石上流。
竹喧歸浣女，蓮動下漁舟。
隨意春芳歇，王孫自可留。

(Mountain Abode at Autumn Dusk)

 

The mountains lie serener after rain,

The autumn-tinted dusk veils the terrain.

The bright moonlight threads through the pine trees,

The clear brook flows o’er the rocks once again.

Bamboos rustle as washer girls return,

Lotus stirs as fishing boats ply a lane.

O let the sweet spring scent fade away,

Here is a dreamlike place I’d fain remain.
