浪淘沙 北戴河 – 毛澤東

 

大雨落幽燕，

白浪滔天，

秦皇岛外打鱼船。

一片汪洋都不见，

知向谁边？

 

往事越千年，

魏武挥鞭，

东临碣石有遗篇。

萧瑟秋风今又是，

换了人间。

O’er Youyan falls a pouring rain,

White billows surge skyward sans rein,

Off Emperor Isle, fishing boats far on the main.

Now only the boundless blue meets the eyes,

Who knows whither all have sailed amain?  

 

Time hath crossed a thousand years’ terrain,

The lord of Wei, with whip raised, left his lofty strain;

His “Jeishi Ode” doth for aye remain.

Though once again the bleak autumn wind blows,

The world hath entered a new reign.

有一个翻译上的取舍想请教您：标题“浪淘沙”您选择音译加注（Lang Tao Shan: Beidaihe），而不是意译（如“Sand-Sifting Waves”或“Waves Washing Sand”）。这个选择是出于什么考虑？是考虑到词牌名本身的音乐性，还是觉得意译会破坏整首诗的格局？
