水是眼波横，
山是眉峰聚。
欲问行人去那边？
眉眼盈盈处。

才始送春归，
又送君归去。
若到江南赶上春，
千万和春住。

O, rills, O beauty’s rippling eyes,

O, hills, O beauty’s twin arched brows,

I’d fain ask the wayfarer where he hies:

“A gorgeous place Nature endows”
 

Just now I bade Springtide adieu,

And now I must bid you farewell.

Should you reach south and still find Spring in view,

O, make sure in her you do dwell.
