七绝·两根面条 – 孟朝崗

 

本恃针芒护一清，岂料裸体入汤烹。

水深火热终萦抱，也算今生未负卿。

(Two Strands of Noodles)

 

I trust awns-robed shall be our fated lot,

Yet stripped we are and cast into the pot—

In boiling water we twine through our life,  

And unto each other we have failed not.
