切响浮声发巧深，研摩虽苦果何心？

浪翁水乐无宫徵，自是云山韶頀音。

The tempo of rise and fall in tones sounds profound,

Beyond desire for mere sound, what else may be found?

Yuan Jie prefers gurgling to mortal melody —

The ethereal music of Cloud Hills, Nature-crowned.
