江城子 清明祭掃父母 – 余新

 

疫情三載剩清風。

草蓬蓬，念無停。

青冥尤見，麗日映愁縱。

新土潤墳安可寄？

四子女，淚如頃。

 

Sweeping My Parents’ Tomb on Tomb-Sweeping Day by Yu Xin

 

Three years of plague, all bereft but the breeze that blows,

Green grass grows, my ceaseless thoughts locked in woes.

The sunlight, in the blue sky, trails where my grief goes.

The fresh earth dampens the tomb in repose,

Ah, where could I bury my inner throes?  

My four siblings, tears like a downpour that flows.
