高中第一天晚了近两年

今天是老二第一天去高中上学。晚了差不多两年。

一早六点起床吃饭。七点正，背着书包，拿着小号，戴着帽子从家里出发。气温零下两度，前几天下的雪还没化，戴着红帽的雪人还在路边。路上车辆不少，靠近学校时车越来越多。老二虽然考了驾照，但没有停车位，今年秋天他可以申请学校停车位。

上次去学校上学老二还是初三学生。上了两年网课，学生基本都不开视频，所以也没有认识什么新同学。自从去年六月打了疫苗，就申请换成去学校。但学区早有安排，一直到最近才有消息。得知消息我是进退维谷。去吧，新冠变异病毒防不胜防。不去吧，高中四年也过一半。先生建议去。我劝孩子再等等。一是可以多睡会，二是可以吃好吃的午餐，三是时间自主安排，四是疫情还是很糟糕。虽然我理由多，但孩子觉得还是去好。

从未想过有一天，去学校上学还要权衡利弊和投票表决。

刚上一周，昨天收到学校通知说周三有同学得了新冠。
Dear Parents or Guardian of ,

The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority. This letter informs you that an individual in a class with your child has tested positive for COVID-19. The last known date of exposure at school was Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Due to confidentiality laws and respect for privacy, we cannot release the individual’s name.

After exposure to an individual who is COVID-19 positive, it is important to monitor your child daily for any signs or symptoms. Those symptoms may include:

Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
If your student develops COVID-like symptoms or becomes sick, you should contact a healthcare provider so that you or your child can be evaluated and get tested immediately. It is also recommended that individuals who are exposed to a positive case seek testing 5-7 days after exposure. More information about the symptoms of COVID-19 are available on the CDC’s website here. Information about public COVID-19 testing locations near you can be found here. Because the virus can still be spread person-to-person, please keep children who are sick at home. Don’t send them to school.

现在中学生应该是去学校上课的比例还是大于上网课吧。
