2025年6月20日，中国驻加拿大大使王镝会见加拿大工商理事会主席兼首席执行官戈尔迪·海德。中国驻加拿大使馆赵娜参赞等在座。
王镝大使介绍了今年前五个月中国经济运行情况，强调中国经济长期向好的基本趋势没有改变，中国将继续为包括加拿大在内的世界各国提供合作机遇。中国始终视加拿大为朋友和伙伴。中国国务院总理李强与加拿大总理马克·卡尼近日通话，为两国关系发展注入了强劲动力。中方愿与加方一道，共同落实两国领导人达成的重要共识，加强各领域交流合作，推动两国关系不断改善发展。
海德先生高度评价中国的经济表现及其对世界经济的巨大贡献，强调加拿大企业重视中国市场，期待与中国企业开展更多贸易投资合作。

On June 20, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Canada H.E. Wang Di met with Goldy Hyder, President and CEO of Business Council of Canada. Counsellor Zhao Na of the Chinese Embassy in Canada and others were present.
Ambassador Wang briefed China’s economic performance in the first five months of this year, emphasizing that the basic trend of China's long-term economic growth has not changed, and China will continue to provide cooperation opportunities for countries around the world including Canada. China always regards Canada as a friend and partner. The recent phone call between Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has injected strong impetus into the development of bilateral relations. China is willing to work with Canada to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote continuous improvement and development of bilateral relations.
Mr. Hyder commended China’s economic performance and China's great contribution to the world economy, stressing that Canadian enterprises attach importance to the Chinese market and look forward to more trade and investment cooperation with Chinese counterparts.
