DNA Barcoding Technology for High Throughput Cell-Nanoparticle Study

The research objective is to integrate a unique barcode into each cell. When the cell divides, the barcode will be duplicated and passed on to the daughter cells. Typically, the word "clone" is used to describe cells derived from a single barcoded cell. These cells share the same barcode. Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center report their novel artificial intelligence blood testing technology has detected more than 80% of liver cancers in a new study. Uncommon Antibody Provides Ultrapotent Protection against Zika Virus

An uncommon and ultrapotent antibody isolated from a pregnant woman during the 2015-2016 zika virus outbreak in Brazil, can neutralize the pathogenic zika virus at early stages of infection during pregnancy in preclinical models, scientists at Weill Cornell Medicine, and the National Institutes of Health have found. Although typically a type of antibody that is weaker, immature, and produced at early stages of infection, DH1017.IgM can bind the zika virus with multiple arms, simultaneously, which the scientists believe is responsible for its high potency against the pathogen. + MORE
