Rent applicant screen question

There is one Chinese group (two couples for house repiar contractor) viewed the house and took the application form yesterday.

I called them this morning. They said they like the house but don't want to give out driver license#, SSN and bank information.

How to deal with them? What min information I must get from them?

I also have another few Mexican applicants. Their financial capability is not very good.
