我先生给我的感谢卡

先生是个虔诚的基督教徒， 他除了每个周末都上教堂外， 每个星期三晚上还参加圣经学习班。 上几个星期， 他的圣经学习班给每个学员一个卡， 让他们写给最应该感谢的人。 我先生就郑重其事地在上面写了一段话， 在一个周六的早上， 煞有介事地把卡递给我。

他是这样写的：

We were given these cards at church to give to someone for whom we are grateful, and I can think of no one I am more grateful for than you. You bring joy to my life and you love me for who I am, despite my short comings.  I just want you to know that I love you with all my heart, and I thank God for bringing you into my life.

虽然， 这只是一个小卡， 但它还是让我感到温暖。

今天， 我们这里下雪， 先生去了宾州接他的小儿子回家， 我下班回家， 我们家的车道上有一层积雪， 车道有点抖， 我竟然不能把车开进车库， 试了两次， 我放弃了， 就把车停在车道上。 如果先生在家， 我肯定会去叫他出来， 让他帮我把车开进车库。 虽然， 我总是自称是个坚强，独立的女性， 但其实， 在生活上， 我还是很依赖我的先生的。

他也是我应该感谢的人， 但我还是觉得我最应该感谢的人是我的父母。 也许， 这也是文化差异吧.

I read some of your book and I like them very much( actually I like you very much too.)I feel you are more American now than Chinese. Americans are more grateful for everything. Or we can say they are more appreciated to the things happen to them. At least I feel this way. I am chinese but sorry I type chinese very slow.
