独客将行心突突,

几分留恋转飘蓬。

当年说走也曾走，

不似今朝得得空。

 

Song of Homeland Returning  

A lonely traveler I'm, my heart's in fret;

Hard to leave, hard to stay, a rootless drifting bay.

I used to depart at will when I was young,

But not so free as now,

when I've wandered along the world's way.
